The first organizational meeting of NAB ASD created upon the initiative of I.R. Ashurbeyli was held. The Board includes general directors and chief designer of the large defense companies, members of RAS (Russian Academy of Science). The Regulations on the Board, the structure of the Board and the plan of the work were approved. I.R. Ashurbeyli in his speech informed about the intended purposes and tasks of (NAB ASD) that had been fixed in the drafts of the Regulations on the Board and the structure of the Board, and also made ​​a proposal to place the information about the creation of the Board and the fact of the commencement of its activities in mass media. As suggested journal “Aerospace Defense” will take the functions of the NAB ASD press organ.
