A regular meeting of the NAB ASD Presidium was held. The report of chief of “2 Central Research Institute of the RF Defense Ministry” S.V. Yagolnikov was heard on the topic “Options, ways, assumed terms for creating the aerospace defense system of the Russian Federation (the theory and practice of the problem)”.

The decision was taken:

1) to approve the basic trends of the researches on the achievable standards of characteristics and the development of technical proposals to ensure balanced development of the systems, instruments engage in solving the problems of ASD of the Russian Federation;

2) to inform the Major Air Command and the government customer of the air defense weapons and military equipment about the conceptual proposals on the development of the RF aerospace defense system and support of the use of scientific and technological potential of the military-industrial complex’ leading organizations to restore basic elements of ASD and to provide the development of ASD in general.

The financial plan NAB ASD for 2006 was accepted.
