The executive director of the Nonprofit Partnership “Non-Departmental Advisory Council on Aerospace Defense”, Doctor of Military Sciences, Colonel-General Boris F. Cheltsov took part in the festive events dedicated to the 60^th anniversary of the Academy on invitation of the Chief of the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus.

Today the educational institution the "Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus" is a unique educational, methodical and scientific center formed by the Presidential Decree N192 from 17 May 1995 on the basis of the two specialized schools - the Minsk Higher Military Engineering Institute and the Minsk Higher Military Command Institute, and it is included in the number of the largest universities in the country which conducts scientific research and training of officers in the 21 specialty areas, 6 directions and 34 specializations. It almost completely covers the needs of the Armed Forces and other force structures in the officer cadres.
